How would you describe yourself?: *Currently, I am living in Budapest.* It's hard to compliment myself, but I will do it anyway. I have a great sense of humor, and love to make a woman laugh. I love to cook. I learned from my father, who is a chef. I am a writer of essays (travel, food, wine, memoir, stories). I hope to write a book or a screenplay for a movie this year. So I am very ambitious. Also, I am not rich or wealthy. But I am not broke. I am still making my career and I would like to have someone to join me on that journey.
How would you describe your ideal partner?: My ideal partner would have a good sense of humor; be optimistic but realistic; not superficial or materialistic; faithful and monogamous; very honest; creative or enjoys a creative mind; and takes care of her body and health.
If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?: I would travel with my partner far from any city, and wait for the end on a tropical beach.
If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?: I would invest half of it. Then travel for two years. When I find my favorite town (probably an old village in France near the sea), I would buy a big house there. Then I would find partners to buy a vineyard and make my own wine.
How often, and from whom do you ask advice?: I ask advice from my parents or a very intellectual friend. I am good at making decisions, so I usually only ask when I am completely unsure.
What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?: In other men, I enjoy nice guys who are not rude to woman and don't see woman merely as something they can take home and conquer.
What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?: In woman, I like girls who are down-to-earth.
What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?: When I was very young, my sister was hit by a car. She was only 18 months older than me. She was paralyzed from the neck down. My family had a lot of trials and difficulties, but we triumphed in the end. It affected me in countless ways--mostly good.
What is the best advice that you give to your children?: Get outside of your comfort zone. Take chances, but be smart when you do it. Don't settle for mediocrity and sitting in an office for 40 years, no matter how much money you think you will make. Because you don't want to be the richest and most boring guy in the graveyard!
What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?: My biggest impression or shock was when I lived in South Korea for four years. As you can imagine, living in an old culture that is entirely different from the USA was a shock every time I left the house.
The last books that you read?: "The Sufis" A very enlightening philosophical and spiritual book.
What are your goals now?: My goals now are to write my essays for a book, work on a memoir about my family story, and write a screenplay movie.
Whom do you admire?: I admire Ernest Hemingway.
Do you have a lot of friends?: I have a lot of friends, but they are spread out all over the USA and the world.
What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?: I dislike men who are "Alpha males."
What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?: I dislike women who feel that luxury (first class plane tickets, 5-star hotels, Chanel bags) are something they must have. Those things are nice and great to have. But there is so much more to life. Sometimes taking an overnight train to Paris, living in a little, clean apartment, and drinking a bottle of wine with bread and cheese in the park is better than a life of luxury.
What would you like to change in yourself?: I wish I could be more diligent with my work. I need a woman to be my muse.
What are your weaknesses?: My weakness is that I am very harsh critic on myself. And sometimes my social life gets in the way of my work.
What are your strengths ?: My strengths are my creativity, my sense of humor, and my compassion for people.

What is your dream job?: To be a screenwriter for movies or TV shows.
Tell us about your dream partner.: She will love me into eternity. She will always have my back, even when times are rough financially or with our health. She will inspire me and encourage me to write and pursue my dreams. She won't have a prescribed way of life, and loves adventures and new beginnings. And we will have a sex life that will make our friends jealous.
Where do you want to live?: I am happy to live in Europe; but if I had to move back to the US, I would live in Washington D.C. or San Francisco. But my home state of Michigan is a great place to spend summers or have a house (since DC and SF are very expensive even for rent!). However, living in the EU would be ideal. I enjoyed living in Asia, but it was an intense working life. Anyway, we can decide where to live later. It would be nice to live outside the USA until I decide to go back and run for politics. I can always return to my country, so why not enjoy the world while I am young?
